We are most pleased to invite you to attend AIRWAY 2005, the first international symposium on airway management which will be held in Abano Terme – Padua and Venice – Italy on June 23-25, 2005. The meeting is organized by the Italian North-East College of Anesthesiologists and Critical Care Specialists (CPART) under the patronage of the Italian Society of Anesthesia, Resuscitation, Intensive Care and Pain (SIAARTI).
AIRWAY 2005 will be the largest gathering of airway management specialists in the world, in the area of Anesthesia and Intensive Care, Trauma and Emergency Care, Pediatrics, Otolaryngology, Pneumology and Tracheal Surgery. The invitation to join us is extended to the members of the recently founded European Airway Management Society (EAMS) , the Society for Airway Management (SAM) and all professionals interested in airway management, in adults or childhood, for diagnosis or therapy, in elective or emergency care.
The satellite conference in the afteernoon of june 25 will be held in Abano Terme.
The satellite conference will focus on the guidelines for airway management:it will offer to delegates of International Societies a unique opportunity to discuss all differences and discrepancies in different Countries, with the aim of moving towards a basic agreement and find a sustainable strategy to promote them in emerging and developing countries.
We encourage you to submit your abstracts for presentation in AIRWAY 2005. You will find details regarding abstract submission in the congress web site (www.airways-2005.it ). Please note that the new deadline for submission of abstracts is May 23, 2005. Abstracts must be submitted electronically only through the Symposium web site.
